Reggio nell'Emilia, usually called Reggio Emilia or simply Reggio by its inhabitants, and known until 1861 as Reggio di Lombardia, is a city in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. With a population of 172,518, it is the fourth largest city in Emilia-Romagna and the twenty-second largest in Italy.
