Dobele

Dobele is a town in Latvia and the seat of Dobele Municipality, in the Semigallia region near the center of the country on the banks of the Berze River. It received town rights in 1917 while part of the German-occupied Courland Governorate during the First World War, and had a population of 8,856 as of 2020.
