Radviliškis is a city in north central Lithuania, administrative center of the Radviliškis district municipality within Šiauliai County. First mentioned in 1529 and probably named for the Radziwiłł family, who held the area from 1546 to 1764, it grew into an important railway junction after the Liepāja to Romny line was built in 1870, and it received city rights in 1923. It has served as the district's administrative center since 1950 and had a population of 14,976 in 2022. A tornado rated F2 caused severe damage to the city on 27 July 2011.
