Plav is a town in the Northern Region of Montenegro, situated along the Lim River, which originates from the nearby Lake Plav, a glacial lake at the foot of the Prokletije mountains. The town has a population of 3,717, while Plav Municipality, of which it is the centre, has a population of 9,050.
