Piotrkow Trybunalski is a city in central Poland and the capital of Piotrkow County, ranking as the second largest municipality in the Lodz Voivodeship. Founded in the late Middle Ages, it was once a royal city and hosted Poland's first parliamentary session in the fifteenth century. It later became the seat of the Crown Tribunal, the highest court of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
