Pobiedziska is a town in Poznań County in Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. Tradition holds that Casimir I the Restorer named the settlement in 1048, from the Polish word for victory, possibly to mark his defeat of the rebel Masław, and the town received formal municipal privileges in 1257 from Przemysł I of Greater Poland. Its landmarks include a Gothic Saint Michael Archangel church and a Neoclassical Holy Spirit church around a historic market square. The population grew from 8,329 in 2006 to 8,748 in 2010.
