Sępólno Krajeńskie is a town in northern Poland, in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, about sixty three kilometres northwest of Bydgoszcz, and serves as the seat of both Sępólno County and Gmina Sępólno Krajeńskie. It stands on a high bank of the Sępólna River and received Magdeburg town rights in 1360 from King Casimir III the Great; its historical German name was Zempelburg. The town had an urban population of 9,258 at the 2006 census, while the wider gmina counted 15,907 residents in 2016.
