Zywiec is a town on the Sola River in southern Poland, with 31,194 inhabitants as of 2019. It sits within the Silesian Voivodeship, near Zywiec Lake and Zywiec Landscape Park, one of eight protected areas in the voivodeship. Historically and culturally the town is part of the Lesser Poland region and is the capital of the Zywiecczyzna region, which belongs ethnically to the Goral Lands.
