Slovenska Bistrica is a town south of Maribor in eastern Slovenia and the seat of the Municipality of Slovenska Bistrica, one of the country's largest municipalities. Situated in the traditional region of Styria and the Drava Statistical Region, it forms a regional center, together with neighboring Slovenske Konjice, for the Upper Dravinja valley and southern Pohorje area.
