Castellon de la Plana

Castellon de la Plana, in Spanish, or Castello de la Plana in Valencian, is the capital city of the province of Castellon in the Valencian Community, Spain, located near the eastern coastline of the Iberian Peninsula by the Mediterranean Sea. Its main urban core lies some kilometers inland while its detached district of Grau was built around the port, and the Desert de les Palmes mountain range rises to the city's north.
