Kremenets is a city in Ternopil Oblast in western Ukraine, serving as the administrative center of the Kremenets Raion. It lies in the historic region of Volhynia, about 18 kilometers northeast of the Pochaiv Lavra monastery, and is home to the 12th-century Kremenets Castle. The city also hosts the administration of the Kremenets urban hromada, and its population was recorded at 20,476.
