Sloviansk is a city in Donetsk Oblast, in the northern part of the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine, known as Tor until 1784. Although not formally part of it, the city served as the administrative centre of the Sloviansk Raion until the raion's abolition on July 18, 2020.
