All Habitat and Species Management Area

IUCN Category IV: areas to protect particular species or habitats, where management reflects this priority, and where many sites need regular, active intervention to meet the needs of particular species or maintain habitats, though that is not a requirement of the category. Belongs here: a site whose primary purpose is safeguarding a particular species population or a specific habitat type, often through active management such as controlled burning, culling or fencing, including a privately managed wildlife conservancy run on the same principle. Does not belong here: a site managed for broad ecosystem protection with no single-species or single-habitat focus, held under National Park.
