Named inland standing bodies of fresh or saline water, from a single named lake to a connected system such as the Great Lakes. Belongs here: a named lake or connected lake system. Does not belong here: a landlocked sea-sized saline body conventionally called a sea, such as the Caspian Sea, held under Seas by its own traditional name.
