Melena del Sur is a town and municipality in Mayabeque Province, Cuba, bordered by San Jose de las Lajas to the north and northwest, Guines to the east, Batabano to the west, and the Gulf of Batabano to the south. Its only beach, Mayabeque Beach, lies at the mouth of the Mayabeque River on its southern shore.
