San Cristobal Verapaz is a town and municipality in the Guatemalan department of Alta Verapaz, with a population of 20,961, located about 29 kilometers from the departmental capital Coban and about 210 kilometers from Guatemala City. It belongs to the Poqomchi linguistic area, and its main income source is a shoe factory that produces industrial rubber boots sold locally and internationally.
