Siguatepeque is a city in Comayagua department in the central highlands of Honduras, along the main highway between Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula. Its cool climate supports coffee cultivation and pine forestry, and the city is home to Honduras's National School of Forest Sciences, a national center for forestry education. Siguatepeque functions as a commercial waypoint for highland communities between the country's two largest cities.
