Ministero dell'Ambiente

This dimension names the specific agency or organization that manages a protected area day to day, as distinct from who merely governs its legal status. Wikipedia notes that the term also "includes marine protected areas and transboundary protected areas across multiple borders," and a transboundary area in particular may need more than one managing authority working together. Browsing by managing authority groups areas run by the same body across the atlas.
