Sources

The books, gazetteers, government registries, scientific bodies and encyclopedic references this atlas cites as evidence for what it asserts about the family's where: continents, regions, countries, cities, landforms, bodies of water and the physical processes that shape them. A source entry is what a reader follows to verify a specific claim, carrying an author or publisher, a year where one applies, and a reliability tier; it is never itself the subject of a geography entity.
