Trenque Lauquen is a city in the west of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, located 444 kilometers from the city of Buenos Aires and 80 kilometers from the border with La Pampa Province, at the intersection of National Routes 5 and 33. It is the largest city of the partido of the same name and had a population of about 40,000 as of the 2001 census.
