Guarulhos is a city and municipality in the Metropolitan Region of Sao Paulo, Brazil, located just northeast of the state capital and ranking as the second most populous municipality in Sao Paulo state. Home to Sao Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport, the busiest airport in South America, Guarulhos has grown into a major logistics, aviation and industrial center closely tied to the broader Sao Paulo metropolitan economy.
