Buin is a city and commune of Chile in Maipo Province, part of the Metropolitan Region of Santiago and of Greater Santiago. It comprises several smaller towns, including Maipo, Viluco, Linderos, Valdivia de Paine and Alto Jahuel, and lies about 35 kilometers south of Santiago in the Maipo Valley wine region.
