Puerto Francisco de Orellana, commonly called Coca, is a city in the Ecuadorian Amazon and the capital of Orellana Province, at the confluence of the Coca and Napo rivers. It had a population of about 51,281 at the 2022 census and sits at an elevation of roughly 300 meters in a tropical rainforest climate. Named for the Spanish explorer Francisco de Orellana, the city functions as a gateway for rainforest tourism and is served by its own airport.
