Dium, also spelled Dion, was a town in the northwest of ancient Euboea, near the promontory of Cenaeum, in what is now Greece. It was said to have sent out the colony of Canae in Aeolis, and it is mentioned by Homer, under the leadership of Elephenor, in the Catalogue of Ships in the Iliad. The site is tentatively identified with Likhas Kastri. This description is adapted from Wikipedia contributors under CC BY-SA 4.0; changes were made. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/
