Karlovac is a city in central Croatia with a population of 49,377 recorded in the 2021 census. It is the administrative centre of Karlovac County, located 56 kilometers southwest of Zagreb and 130 kilometers northeast of Rijeka, connected to both by the A1 highway and the M202 railway.
