The release and accumulation of rock debris that a glacier has eroded and transported, dropped either directly from melting ice as unsorted till or reworked and sorted by glacial meltwater into stratified outwash sediment. It builds landforms including moraines, drumlins, eskers and outwash plains across formerly glaciated terrain.
