Cuito, formerly known as Silva Porto, is a city in central Angola and the capital of Bie Province, with a municipal population of 450,881 recorded in 2014. It has been projected as the tenth fastest growing city on the African continent between 2020 and 2025, with an estimated growth rate of 5.56 percent.
