Lubango is a city in southwestern Angola and the capital of Huila Province, formerly known as Sa da Bandeira. With a municipal population of 890,384 recorded in 2024, it is the second most populous city in Angola after the national capital, Luanda, and its city center alone held 805,272 residents that year.
