N'dalatando

N'dalatando is a town and commune in Cuanza Norte Province, Angola, serving as the seat of Cazengo municipality and the provincial capital. Formerly renamed Salazar and then Vila Salazar under Portuguese colonial rule, it took back its original name after Angolan independence in 1976 and had a population of about 161,584 in 2014. It sits between the Luinha and Lucala rivers and is linked by the Luanda Railway and National Road 230 to Luanda and Malanje.
