Sumbe

Sumbe, formerly known as Novo Redondo, is a city in west central Angola and the administrative capital of Cuanza Sul Province. It had a 2014 census population of 279,968, with 205,832 living in the urban area, across a municipality that stretches from the Queve River to the Balombo River and the Atlantic coast.
