Dschang is a city in the West Region of Cameroon and the capital of the Ménoua division. Its population was estimated at 87,000 in 2001, up sharply from 21,705 recorded in 1981, and estimated at around 200,000 by 2006. The Bamiléké are the predominant ethnic group in the city.
