Kabinda

Kabinda is the capital of Lomami Province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with a 2023 population estimated at 572,000. The city sits at an elevation of about 845 meters and has been cited as one of the fastest growing cities on the African continent between 2020 and 2025. During the Second Congo War it was besieged by Rwandan forces for two years but remained under government control, and it is served today by Tunta Airport.
