Piggs Peak is a town in the Hhohho district of northwestern Eswatini, founded around gold prospecting in 1884 and named after William Pigg, an early resident who discovered a gold reef there on 26 March that year. Though gold prospecting launched the settlement, its main industry today is forestry. The area is also home to the Phophonyane Falls and the Piggs Peak Casino, and the Maguga Dam, a 115 meter high structure on the Komati River completed in 2001, lies about 12 kilometers south of the town.
