Khartoum North, also called Khartoum Bahri or simply Bahri, is a city in Khartoum State, Sudan, lying north of the capital Khartoum across the Nile. With a population of 1,012,211 it is the third largest city proper in Sudan, after the neighboring cities of Omdurman and Khartoum.
