Kaieteur Falls is a single-drop waterfall on the Potaro River in Kaieteur National Park in Guyana's Essequibo region, notable for combining great height with a large volume of water rather than height alone. Its main plunge measures 226 meters, or 251 meters including the cascades below, over an average width of 113 meters, with an average flow of about 663 cubic meters per second, making it about four and a half times as tall as Niagara Falls and roughly twice the height of Victoria Falls. The falls sit within Guyana's rainforest interior and are reachable by air through Kaieteur International Airport.
