The largest lake in Argentina, located in Patagonia and fed in part by glacial meltwater from the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, including the Perito Moreno Glacier, which calves directly into its waters. Its milky turquoise color comes from finely ground rock flour carried by glacial runoff.
