Ahlen is a town in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, about 30 kilometers southeast of Munster. Part of the District of Warendorf, it is the district's economically most important town and sits within the historic Munsterland area, with the villages of Dolberg, Vorhelm, and Tonnishauschen counted among its constituent parts.
