Alicante, called Alacant in Valencian, is a city and municipality in the Valencian Community of Spain and capital of the province of Alicante. A historical Mediterranean port, it had a population of 358,608 as of 2024, making it the second-largest city in the Valencian Community and the tenth-largest in Spain.
