Balatonboglár is a resort town on the south shore of Lake Balaton in Somogy County, Hungary, with 5,568 residents recorded in 2017. It is the center of the Balatonboglár wine region and is known locally as the town of grapes and wine. Between 1979 and 1991 it was merged with the neighboring town of Balatonlelle under the combined name Boglárlelle before the two communities separated again.
