Barabai is a town that serves as the administrative capital of Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, located 165 kilometers from the provincial capital Banjarmasin. The town sits at the foot of the Meratus Mountains, which run in a north-south arc across the island of Borneo.
