Bayombong is a municipality and the capital of Nueva Vizcaya province, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines. Formally founded on April 12, 1739, it had a 2024 census population of 72,890 across 163.36 square kilometers, making it the province most populous town, and it serves as the provincial seat. Its name derives from the Gaddang word Bayongyong, meaning the confluence of two or more rivers.
