Bekasi is the largest city in the province of West Java, Indonesia, and the third-largest city in the country, located on the eastern border of Jakarta. Functioning as a major commuter and industrial city within the Jakarta metropolitan area, Bekasi hosts extensive manufacturing estates that supply goods for both domestic consumption and export, while much of its workforce commutes daily into the capital.
