Benteng is a town and administrative district in Selayar Islands Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, and the regency administrative capital. It sits on the seafront served by Benteng Pier, with the nearest airport, H. Aroeppala Airport, located a few miles south in Bontoharu District. It had a population of 21,344 at the 2010 census and 24,849 at the 2020 census, with an official mid-2022 estimate of 25,397.
