Biala Rawska is a town in Rawa County in the Lodz Voivodeship of central Poland, counted among the oldest settlements of the historic Mazovia region. First recorded in 1246, it developed into a medieval administrative and trading center after receiving its town charter before 1498, but it never fully recovered from the devastation of the Swedish invasion of the 1650s. During the Second World War the town lost roughly 1,800 residents, including nearly all of its 1,200 Jewish inhabitants, who were deported to Treblinka.
