Bundaberg is a major regional city in the Wide Bay-Burnett region of Queensland, Australia, on the southern bank of the Burnett River about 20 kilometres from its mouth at the Coral Sea. It is the ninth largest city in Queensland, sits on a rich coastal agricultural plain, and is home to the Taribelang-Bunda, Goreng Goreng, Gurang and Bailai peoples; known for its sugar industry, the city had an urban population of 73,747 at the 2021 census.
