Busselton is a city in Western Australia's South West region, Australia, about 220 kilometers southwest of Perth, known as Undalup in the Noongar language. It grew from a historic port town, and after the Busselton Port closed in 1972 alongside the establishment of the nearby Margaret River wine region, tourism became its dominant source of investment and development, supplemented by services and retail. The city is best known for the Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere at 1,841 metres, and recorded a population of 27,233 at the 2021 census.
