Cabadbaran is a component city in the Caraga region of the Philippines and the de jure capital of Agusan del Norte province, about 29 kilometers from Butuan. Founded in 1894 as a Spanish reduction and chartered as a city in 2007, it had a 2024 census population of 82,343. The provincial government seat was assigned to Cabadbaran by law in 2000, though most offices still operate from Butuan.
