Casmenae, also known as Kasmenai, was an ancient Greek colony of Magna Graecia founded in 644 BC by the Syracusans on the Hyblaean Mountains of Sicily. It guarded the Via Selinuntina road linking Syracuse to Akragas, but was destroyed by the Romans in 212 BC and abandoned during the 3rd century BC, never resettled.
