Celldomolk is a town in Vas County, Hungary, in the Kemenesalja Hills, and ranks as the county's fifth largest town with roughly 11,000 inhabitants, 11,478 at the 2004 census. Its history extends back more than 750 years, and a 12th-century Roman-style abbey still stands on its western edge. Before the Second World War the town had a substantial Jewish community, most of whom were deported during the Holocaust by Hungarian fascist forces, and in more recent times parts of the film Eragon were shot there.
