Cobija is a city in Bolivia and the capital of the department of Pando, located about 600 kilometers north of La Paz in the Amazon Basin on the border with Brazil. It lies on the banks of the Rio Acre across from the Brazilian city of Brasileia, at an elevation of about 280 meters, and has a tropical, rainy climate.
